The
Brazil Gateway in collaboration with the College of Food, Agricultural and
Environmental Sciences (CFAES) and the Global One Health Initiative (GOHi)
invites you to learn more about one of the top universities in Latin America, Universidade
de Sao Paulo (USP). Two faculty members and a graduate student from USP
will present on the first of four webinars that are part of the CAPES PrInt
Online Workshop with Brazilian Universities. They will share the
university’s research focus under the CAPES PrInt funding system, opportunities
for collaboration with Ohio State, and past successful experiences.
CAPES
PrInt - Four Brazilian universities have listed Ohio State as a partner for the
new Brazilian government funding system, CAPES PrInt. CAPES is an important
foundation connected with the Ministry of Education in Brazil (https://www.capes.gov.br).
CAPES PrInt is a 60 million four-year program that aims to promote the development
of strategic internationalization plans as a means to improve the quality of
Brazilian graduate courses and to draw greater international visibility to
scientific research carried out in Brazil. Opportunities include Brazilian
graduate students interested in being visiting scholars abroad and positions
for graduate students wanting to be visiting scholars in Brazil, as well as
Brazilian faculty nominating their foreign collaborators as visiting faculty in
Brazil, and the establishment of research networks among universities.
Join the webinar by registering and share with those who
might be interested. See you on Jun 16 at noon (ET).
