Title: Intentional Teaching for Young Learners: Hands-On Strategies

Abstract: Teaching young learners requires more than just engaging activities, it demands intentionality in every step of the learning process. This workshop will explore hands-on strategies that make English learning purposeful, dynamic, and playful. We will bring practical techniques to design meaningful lessons, integrating interactive resources and visuals that enhance language acquisition to teach kids intentionally.

Title: Give me a Reason (Purpose)!

Abstract: In this talk, I aim to explore the potential impact of explicitly conveying the real-world purpose and applicability of common classroom tasks. I will also discuss whether increasing students' awareness of task relevance can enhance their motivation, improve their ability to connect classroom activities to real-life situations, and foster critical thinking.
