A two-day innovation tournament hosted by SUNY Alfred State University and Hayek Global College.

Led by Evan Enke, Chair of the Computer Information Technology program at Alfred State, this tournament will push the new generation of leaders to solve real-world systems problems... and earn cash prizes!

How the Challenge Works

• On May 10 participants will be grouped into teams and presented with a problem to solve creatively over the week.
• On May 17, each team will present their solution to a panel of judges. 
• Groups will be of 4 students at most

Who can participate?

Anyone who:

• Is 22 years old or younger 
• Has advanced English skills

Awards

All participants will receive a Hayek dry-fit t-shirt, and a Participation Award issued by both institutions.

The best groups will receive cash prizes*

• Runners-up: R$ 1000
• Champions: R$ 2000 + a bonus prize to be revealed at the time of award!

* The cash prizes are for the entire group. So for example, if a group of 4 participants wins R$2000, each person will earn R$ 500.

May 17 – Presentation & Awards
10:00am - 11:30AM Group Presentations (10 minutes per team)
10:30am – Judges’ Feedback (Evan & Hayek Team)
10:50am – Winners Announced

The event will be held at Hayek Global College, inside Condominio Ion located at SGAN Q 601, BL H, Asa Norte, Brasilia, DF.
